Elle: Chorouk, you have achieved so much in your career, from being crowned Miss Arab World to hosting major international events. How do you define success today?
Chorouk: For me, success is about balance. I’ve lived beautiful moments on stage and achieved my professional dreams, but becoming a mother has given me a new sense of fulfillment. Success is not only about shining in front of cameras but also about building a meaningful life and leaving a positive impact on others.
Elle: Your Moroccan roots are very present in your style. How important is it for you to represent Moroccan culture in the international fashion world?
Chorouk: I’m very proud of my Moroccan heritage. Our culture is rich in history, art, and craftsmanship, and I love expressing that through fashion. In this shoot, I’m wearing a stunning Moroccan caftan designed by Dar El Bahia, which perfectly reflects the elegance and tradition of Moroccan fashion. I believe that through fashion, we can tell stories and keep our heritage alive on global platforms.
Elle: From beauty queen to businesswoman and now a mother, how has your journey evolved over the years?
Chorouk: Each chapter of my life taught me something new. Winning Miss Arab World opened doors to the entertainment and fashion industry. Launching my business, Baby World, allowed me to explore my entrepreneurial side, and becoming a mother to my son Layth has been the most beautiful and transformative experience of all. Today, I feel more confident and complete than ever before.
Elle: What advice would you give to young Arab women who dream of making it internationally?
Chorouk: Believe in yourself, invest in your education, and never forget your roots. The world is full of opportunities, but staying true to your identity and values is what will make you stand out. I’m proud to represent Arab women and show that we can succeed globally while staying authentic to who we are.
Elle: What are your upcoming projects? Can we expect to see you more in the international fashion and media scene?
Chorouk: Absolutely! I’m currently working on new media projects, collaborating with international brands, and expanding my business in the UAE. I also have exciting collaborations in the fashion world, and of course, I’m enjoying every moment of motherhood. The journey is just beginning!
Elle: How has your husband’s support influenced your journey, both as a career woman and as a mother?
Chorouk: Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better life partner. His support has been a pillar of strength in my journey. He believes in me, pushes me to chase my dreams, and has always been by my side through every challenge.
When I became a mother, his love and care became even more special. He’s not only an incredible father to our son Layth but also my biggest source of motivation and emotional support. Having such a supportive partner makes all the difference when balancing a career and motherhood.
